Many years have passed since Tensacciai started to be actively engaged in the study of the application of post-tensioning technology in the geotechnical field.
Tensacciai has worked and is working with the main specialized contractors, and has supplied and installed a considerable number of rock and ground anchors, of different types and use, in important public and civil works, in Italy and all over the world.
The acquired experience enables Tensacciai to design, test and produce types of anchors, technologies and equipment which have a wide application as well as important technical and operative results.
These targets have been obtained thanks to a considerable technical research and a continuous attention to the different problems of the field.
All Tensacciai supplies comply both with the Italian standards covering pre-stressed reinforced concrete “Technical standards for calculation, execution and testing of normal and pre-stressed reinforced concrete structures and for metal structures”, Law n° 1086/71, Ministry Decree of 9.1.1996, Circular n°252 AA.GG. / S.T.C. of 15.10.1996 and with the “AICAP Recommendations” of 1993.
Moreover Tensacciai has developed a new range of ground anchors fully complying with the recent and severe Euro norm EN 1537:1999 “Execution of special geotechnical works – Ground anchors” issued in Italy as UNI EN 1537:2002.
This latest range of products is the most performing one, keeping products updated with recent needs of care for details, approaching installation needs and corrosion protection in a modern and satisfactory way.
